DNR seeking input on deer management efforts

LANSING, Mich. (WJMN) — The Department of Natural Resources is asking the public to help them gain a better understanding of perspectives around the state.

A survey released Thursday afternoon asks state residents their opinions on how the DNR is managing the deer population, and what aspects of deer management matter most to them.

“This survey should help us gather a broader perspective on deer and experiences from people across Michigan as we continue to work on this initiative. The survey is for anyone interested in deer, and we appreciate those who take the time to help us gather as much information as possible,” said a spokesperson for the DNR as the survey was sent out on social media.

The survey takes about two minutes to complete. You can learn more about the DNR’s current deer management efforts here.
