Roses are red, violets are blue, Disney World's new Sleeping Beauty cupcakes are pink and blue...and they are extremely cute.

...I'm so sorry, but that was the only fitting way to alert you to the existence of the All Star Music Resort's newest Cupcake of the Month-an Aurora-inspired frosted masterpiece.

The Disney Food Blog confirms the cupcakes are being sold for $6 at the resort's Intermission Food Court. They also note the pretty pink and blue swirl is a nod to fairy godmothers Flora and Merryweather, as each of them seemingly got their say in what color the cupcake should be. Regardless, the cupcake's sudden appearance isn't accidental; WDW News Today notes it's timed to the 60th anniversary of the iconic film.

Though the dessert is super colorful, it seems as though it's a plain vanilla cupcake loaded with cotton candy buttercream both on and in the cake (though early reports say the cotton candy flavor is so slight it may as well also be vanilla). The crown that sits atop the cupcake is simply white chocolate. Oh! And it's topped with edible gold glitter, of course.

Anyway, there's not much more to say about it other than that as a cupcake of the month, it's only going to be around for a limited time. Get yourself to Disney's All Star Music Resort quick...and if you can't, a screening of Sleeping Beauty (with a vat of vanilla frosting in hand) may very well be in order.
