What 911 callers say happened in deadly motorcycle crash involving police officer

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile County Communications Department has released multiple 911 call transcripts regarding a Mobile Police officer allegedly hitting a motorcyclist and leaving the scene.

Orange Beach Public Library has a new policy due to concerned parents

The crash occurred Friday night at the intersection of Cody Road and Zeigler Boulevard. The motorcyclist and the officer were both taken to a local hospital, where the motorcyclist, later identified as 67-year-old Robert Sayen died.

News 5 had a crew on the scene after the crash and got some video of the scene.

Multiple citizens called 911 when the crash occurred, with some of them claiming that the driver of the car left the scene.

There are discrepancies in the calls, including one person claiming the car involved was a blue Ford car with another claiming it was an officer. Another discrepancy in the transcripts involves the gender of the motorcyclist.
