Diamond Lady Wildcat Softball Ranked #10 in the Country

DIAMOND, MO — The Diamond Lady Wildcats are off to a great start in their young season. They are currently undefeated on the year and their undefeated start is earning them some national recognition.

Diamond is ranked among the top half in the country for high school softball.

The rankings come from USA Today Sports & the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). Diamond is 10-0 on the year and #10 in the latest NFCA High School Super 25 Poll.

They are the highest ranked Missouri team in the polls. Within Missouri, Diamond also sits atop of the State Rankings for Class 2 at #1.

Led by Head Coach Kelsey Parrish, the Lady Wildcats have their eyes set on another state title run this season.

Their last state championship came back in 2022 when they finished the year 29-3 and defeated Skyline, 6-4, in the Class 2 State Championship.

Diamond will be back in action when they travel to face Liberal with Bronaugh (6-3) on Monday (Apr 1).
