Deputies: 4 injured in Lyons Township rollover crash

LYONS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say four people were injured in a rollover crash near Lyons.

The Ionia County Sheriff’s Office said the happened shortly after 5:15 p.m. Monday on Peckins Road near the intersection of Staley Road in Lyons Township.

A blue Subaru Forester was heading eastbound when the driver lost control, ran off the roadway, and hit the ditch and tree stumps, causing the vehicle to roll several times, according to the sheriff’s office.

Three passengers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

The driver, a 20-year-old Belding woman, was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
