Denver weather: Sunny skies, 70s before weekend showers
DENVER (KDVR) — Mostly sunny skies on Wednesday will bring the 70s back into the Denver weather forecast before rain and cooler temperatures arrive this weekend.
Weather today: Sunny and warmer
Abundant sunshine is back by Wednesday afternoon with warmer temperatures. Highs will make it to the middle to upper 70s with a few afternoon clouds.

A few clouds will push in overnight with winds staying light.
Low temperatures Wednesday night will dip into the middle 40s, keeping Denver about 10 degrees above average.
Looking ahead: Rainy and cooler weekend
Thursday also looks like a comfortable day with mainly sunny skies and highs in the middle 70s. There is the chance for a quick passing shower or storm in the evening hours.

Friday will see clouds gradually increasing through the day with mild highs in the upper 60s. Rain moves back into the area on Friday evening and will linger into the weekend.
Saturday looks to be rainy and cooler, as highs will only make it to the middle 50s. Showers will stick around through the day with a light breeze.
Rain showers are possible for the first half of Sunday, with some partial clearing in the evening. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 50s.
Monday brings back mainly sunny skies to the forecast with above-average highs near the 70-degree mark.
Tuesday is a few degrees warmer as highs reach the middle 70s with abundant sunshine.
