Denver weather: Sunny and hot before spotty weekend storms
DENVER (KDVR) — Mostly sunny skies will be across the Front Range on Friday, helping Denver’s weather hit the hottest temperature so far this year.
Weather today: Sunny and hot
Denver will see abundant sunshine on Friday, allowing highs to reach the hottest temperature of the year in the middle 80s.

Winds will be light through the day, and this should be the second 80-degree day of 2024.
Weather tonight: Clear and mild
The skies will stay clear overnight with light winds out of the south. Low temperatures on Friday night will be above average and end up near the 50-degree mark.
Looking ahead: More scattered showers
Denver kicks off the weekend with a few extra clouds on Saturday afternoon. Highs reach the upper 70s with afternoon scattered showers and storms that can linger into the evening.

Sunday is back to the low 80s with mainly sunny skies. There is a tiny chance of a shower and storm on Sunday afternoon. This should make for a hotter weekend for the Colfax races.
Monday begins the next workweek with partly to mostly cloudy skies, seasonal highs in the low 70s and showers and storms.
Some rain can linger into Tuesday with even cooler highs in the middle 60s and partly cloudy skies.
Denver will start to dry out by the middle of the week with more sunshine and seasonal highs in the mid-70s on Wednesday.
Thursday also looks nice with plenty of sunshine and warmer highs in the upper 70s.
