Denver weather: Soggy days ahead, Pinpoint Weather Alert Day on Saturday

DENVER (KDVR) — Thunderstorms are moving into Denver’s weather ahead of a cooler and soggy weekend. A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Saturday because of mountain snow and rain for the metro.

While thunderstorms could be widely scattered on Thursday night, the greatest risk for severe storms is in northeast Colorado, which is under a marginal to slight risk for severe storms that could create large hail, damaging wind gusts and an isolated threat for tornadoes.
