Denver weather: More showers this weekend

DENVER (KDVR) —  More showers are in Denver’s weather forecast through the weekend, including on Mother’s Day.

Weather tonight: Some clearing

Friday night, the chance for showers will wrap up. Denver will see some clearing but will stay mainly cloudy. Low temperatures will fall to near 40 degrees, which is just a few degrees below normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny start, afternoon showers

Saturday will start with sunshine. As high temperatures climb to the mid to upper 60s, clouds will increase ahead of the chance for showers and thunderstorms Saturday evening into the overnight hours.

Looking ahead: More spring showers, warmer workweek

Sunday will not be a washout, but you might want to move Mother’s Day plans indoors. There is a chance for showers on Sunday morning, followed by a few breaks in the afternoon and more shower chances in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will climb to the mid-60s, which is about 5 degrees cooler than normal.

Monday and Tuesday will start mainly sunny. But as highs climb up to the mid-70s, the chance for showers and a few thunderstorms will increase.
