Denver weather: More chances for afternoon spring showers to end the week

DENVER (KDVR) — Cooler temperatures and more spring showers are in Denver’s weather forecast through the end of the week ahead of a warmer and drier weekend.

Weather tonight: Evening thunderstorms

On Wednesday night, there will be a few showers and a chance for thunderstorms.

The better chance for thunderstorms will be in the Eastern Plains. Showers will clear after midnight, followed by clearing clouds. Low temperatures will be seasonal and drop to the mid- to upper 30s.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny start, cooler

Thursday will start mainly sunny. Clouds will build in by the afternoon alongside the chance for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Temperatures will be cooler and only reach the lower 60s, which is about 5 degrees below normal.

Looking ahead: Spring showers, then drying up

Friday, the pattern continues: morning sunshine followed by an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms through the afternoon and evening.

A drier and warmer weather pattern moves in this weekend.

Saturday, high temperatures will climb to the upper 60s then jump another 10 degrees on Sunday. Sunshine and above-normal temperatures stay in the forecast for the start of the workweek.
