Denver weather: Mild weekend, chance for Saturday showers

DENVER (KDVR) — Mild temperatures stick around Denver’s weather forecast for the Memorial Day holiday weekend but rain chances are ahead before conditions dry out and 80-degree highs return.

Weather tonight: Clearing, mild

Friday night, clouds will gradually clear. Temperatures will stay mild and fall to the 40s.

Weather tomorrow: Afternoon thunderstorms

Saturday will start mostly sunny. As high temperatures climb to the mid-70s, clouds will increase through the afternoon ahead of showers and thunderstorms that will continue through the evening.

Looking ahead: Drying out, return to the 80s

Sunday will be mainly sunny. High temperatures will be seasonal and climb to the mid-70s.

Memorial Day will be sunny and mild. High temperatures will climb to the upper 70s, which is just a few degrees above normal.

Warmer temperatures move in for the start of the next workweek, which will include early morning lows in the 50s and highs in the 80s.
