According to authorities, the training has been fully coordinated with local government and law enforcement and is not in response to any real-world event. DPD said precautions are in place to protect service members and residents and limit any disruption to the community.

The department said due to the risks involved in the training it will not be open for public viewing.

DPD said anyone with any questions should contact the United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command Public Affairs Office at (910) 907-0960.
