Coroner identifies 21-year-old killed in motorcycle crash near North Myrtle Beach

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW)– A 21-year-old Kansas man was identified as the person killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon just a couple miles north of North Myrtle Beach, the Horry County Coroner’s Office said.

Tristan Davis was riding his motorcycle when he lost control and struck a ramp guardrail on Highway 9, the coroner’s office said.

South Carolina Highway Patrol said the deadly wreck was around 4 p.m.

Davis was transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he died from multiple traumatic injuries sustained from the crash.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
