DC police looking Southeast armed robbery suspect

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are looking for the suspect involved in an armed robbery along with the car they drove.

The Metropolitan Police Department said the armed robbery happened on Friday at around 1:48 a.m. in the 900 block of Half St. in Southeast D.C.

The suspect got out of their car, went up to the victim who was getting stuff out of the rear passenger side of their car, pointed a gun at the victim and took their things. The suspect then drove away.

The suspect’s car is a black Honda CRV with Virginia tags: TKG5029

Anyone with information was asked to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411.

A reward of up to $10,000 was being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those involved.
