Dairy Queen assault suspect used stun gun on victim after slapping milkshake, police say

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — An assault suspect slapped a milkshake out of another man’s hand before shocking him with a stun gun at a Virginia Beach Dairy Queen, police say.

It happened last Thursday at the 1585 General Booth Blvd. location. Police say the victim and suspect first got into a verbal argument, but things escalated after the suspect slapped the victim’s milkshake out of his hand.

Police say the suspect then chased the victim around the restaurant with the stun gun, and used the gun on the victim’s stomach after he tripped. The victim though was able to get away before being shocked a second time.

Police have not identified the suspect, but did share photos of him. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Virginia Beach Police Department or the Crime Line.
