This Dad's Viral Tough-Love Lesson to His Kid Has the Internet Fired Up
A mystery dad has been earning a lot of attention since a photo of his tough-love parenting strategy went viral.
The "father of the year" held up a ruthless-but hilarious-sign at the Cleveland Cavaliers game last Friday night in Charlotte. His large poster stood out because it wasn't directed at the players-it was aimed towards his son.
"Thomas get your grades back up and next time you'll be here. Love, Dad," read the sign, featuring a crying emoji and a Cavaliers logo.
After a photo of the dad's clever sign was shared on ESPN's Instagram account, thousands of parents took to social media to praise his tactics.
Some called him "dad of the year" while others commended his "parenting win."
