DA: Teen killed at Northborough birthday party was Ygor Correia of Bellingham

Authorities have identified the partygoer who was shot to death in Northborough over the weekend as Ygor Correia, 16, of Milford.

Authorities initially said the victim was from Bellingham.

The teen was at a birthday gathering of several hundred people at a rented house at 333 Howard St. when gunfire rang out, according to authorities. Correia was one of at least two people shot about 1 a.m. Sunday.

He was rushed to UMass Memorial Medical Center — University Campus in Worcester, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities. The other victim, a 17-year-old male, was brought to another hospital, where he was treated and released.

The three people charged in the case are identified by authorities as Wallisom Texeira Da Silva, 20, of Hyde Park; Arnoldo Nogueira Filho, 19, 243 Boston Post Road East, Apt. 11, Marlborough; and Pedro Desouza-Passos, 27, Rockland.

Authorities said a 21st birthday party was taking place at the property.

Tuesday, the office of Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. confirmed Correia as the person who died.

According to an obituary, Correia was a sophomore at Milford High School.
