‘Cute’ baby now at CLE zoo has a lot of growing to do

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A new addition is being welcomed to the zoo!

Local friends split lottery win three ways

An 11-week-old baby gorilla has arrived at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. “The cute baby gorilla will join the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s gorilla troop,” officials said.

The baby gorilla is named Jameela.

Jameela is a female western lowland gorilla from the Congo in Africa. Females grow to weigh 200 pounds, stand 4-foot-6 and have an arm span of 6 1/2 feet.
