Currituck County School bus involved in accident

CURRITUCK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — A Currituck County School bus was involved in an accident Monday.

It happened near the 7-Eleven on Shortcut Road. According to the district’s Facebook page, no students were on board at the time and the driver is being evaluated as a precautionary measure.

Currituck County School officials said they do not anticipate any impact on bus routes or afternoon travel times.
