Crowds return to Niantic Outdoor Arts and Craft Show

Jul. 3—EAST LYME — Visitors crowded the Niantic Outdoor Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday.

The 60th annual juried art show and food truck event continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the East Lyme Town Hall Green. It is organized by the Niantic Lions Club and proceeds benefit Camp Rising Sun and other local nonprofits, including Care & Share, Freedom Guide Dogs and Sophia Sees Hope.

"I can't afford this right now," Mara Effinzer, visiting from Wisconsin, said as she looked through at photos for sale by artist Lissette Padilla of The BQE Photography. "But one day I'm going to have a house that's full of art."
