According to a press release from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, 34 year-old Terrell D. Hayes-Osby of Topeka is in serious condition but expected to survive. He was taken to an area hospital after the central Topeka shooting.

The Topeka Police Department (TPD) announced in a press release that around 2 p.m. on April 20, officers were called to a reported armed robbery in the 2700 block of SE California Avenue. Initial reports were that a vehicle was being driven erratically by the alleged robbery suspect.
