Crime Reports: Abilene resident says unknown suspect shot bullet into apartment

Incidents

1200 block of Sycamore Street – Burglary of Vehicle
A victim reported an unknown suspect stole tools out of his vehicle worth nearly $2,000.

600 block of N 1st Street – Burglary of Building
Two unknown suspects forced entry into Frontier Texas and stole numerous tools without permission.

2800 block of S 40th Street – Theft of Property
A cellphone worth $1,000 was reported stolen.

2200 block of Vogel Avenue – Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse
A victim reported credit card abuse.

4100 block of Ridgemont Drive – Forgery
A victim reported they were scammed out of large amounts of money.

4300 block of Buffalo Gap Road – Theft of Property
A suspect was caught stealing nearly $3,000 worth of perfume from an Abilene store.

3200 block of Plum Street – Theft of Property
An Abilene business owner reported a known suspect took auto parts worth $1,122.

700 block of Pine Street – Forgery
A north Abilene business repported a suspect attempted to execute a written check without the consent of the account holder.

1200 block of N Judge Ely Boulevard – Deadly Conduct
A victim reported her baby’s father and sister showed up to her work and threatened to shoot her through the drive thru.

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION – Criminal Trespass
A suspect was caught trespassing in the yard of an Abilene homeowner.

1700 block of Briarwood Street – Assault
A victim reported she was assaulted while out looking for her dog. She was struck in the face by an unknown female following a verbal altercation.

5200 block of N 9th Street – Terroristic Threat Cause Fear of Imminent SBI
A victim reported a suspect threatened her, causing her to fear for her life.

1000 block of S Clack Street – Criminal Mischief
A report was completed for criminal mischief at an Abilene apartment complex.

300 block of Graham Street – Theft of Property
Multiple sporting goods worth nearly $2,000 were reported stolen.

600 block of Ash Street – Burglary of Building
Unknown suspect forced entry into a victim’s house and stole several items.

2100 block of Vogel Avenue – Burglary of Vehicle
Police took a report in reference to a burglary of motor vehicle where a wallet, phone, and drivers license were reported stolen.

2400 block of Buffalo Gap Road – Deadly Conduct
A victim reported an unknown suspect fired a handgun into his apartment. The bullet penetrated a door frame and wooden cabinets.

1100 block of Oak Street – Theft of Property
A victim reported a known suspect entered his room and took a cell phone worth $145.

1000 block of E Overland Trail – Theft of Property
A wallet, cash, and ID were reported stolen.

1100 block of S 27th Street – Criminal Trespass
A suspect was warned of criminal trespass after he would not leave a county facility.

200 block of Cedar Street – Criminal Mischief
Employees at a north Abilene library reported someone threw a brick through their front window.

800 block of Sayles Boulevard – Theft of Property
A chain saw, blade, and gloves were reported stolen from a victim’s porch.

300 block of Pine Street – Criminal Trespass
A suspect was arrested for entered an Abilene property he had been warned from previously.

4400 block of Buffalo Gap Road – Robbery
A victim was assaulted during a robbery.

3400 block of Catclaw Drive – Theft of Property
A wheelchair worth $5,600 was reported stolen.

6000 block of Fairmont Street – Terroristic Threat
A suspect was arrested for terroristic threat.

1200 block of Briar Cliff Path – Burglary of Vehicle

1000 block of CR 127 – Theft of Property
A victim reported her license plates were being used on a vehicle in the DFW area.

2500 block of Rountree Drive – Assault Family Violence

4500 block of S 1st Street – Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information
Police took a report in reference as identity theft.

3200 block of S Clack Street – Theft of Property
A suspect was seen taking merchandise and concealing items on his person.

3400 block of Vogel Avenue – Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse
A victim reported an unknown suspect used his stolen debit/credit card at several locations.

2000 block of S Clack Street – Harassment
A victim reported his ex-girlfriend was blowing up his phone and social media after he blocked her several times.

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION – Aggravated Assault Deadly Weapon
A report for Aggravated Assault was taken in south Abilene.

3200 block of Pine Street – Criminal Trespass
A suspect was arrested for trespassing at a north Abilene hotel.

5200 block of Hwy 277 S – Burglary of Vehicle
Office equipment was reported stolen.

1800 block of Idlewild Street – Burglary of Habitation
Several items worth nearly $2,500 were reported stolen.

700 block of High Street – Criminal Mischief

2400 block of Buffalo Gap – Burglary of Vehicle
A victim reported her ex-fiance entered her vehicle and stole items without permission.

2500 block of S 1st Street – Assault
Two unknown suspect assaulted a victim. A good Samaritan halted the assault.

1700 block of Pasadena Drive – Criminal Mischief
A victim reported more than $2,000 in damage to her vehicle.

3000 block of N 6th Street – Criminal Mischief
A victim reported two known suspects used a bat to smash the back of her vehicle’s window.

4400 block of Crawford Drive – Burglary of Vehicle
A victim reported an unknown person entered his vehicle and took a firearm without permission.

1800 block of Grape Street – Theft of Property
A victim reported someone stole his wallet after he dropped it.

1300 block of Lewis and Clark Trail – Theft of Firearm
A firearm worth $650 was reported stolen.

Police took a report in reference to harassment and oppression.

A report for assault family violence was taken in south Abilene.

A report for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon after a victim reported the father of her child threatened and strangled her.
