TAMPA - Firefighters in Tampa spent hours Tuesday night putting out a brush fire that forced crews to shut down a stretch of Morris Bridge Road.

Tampa Fire Rescue says crews responded around 7:45 p.m. to Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Park and found smoke and flames visible from Morris Bridge Road.

It took crews about two hours to get the fire under control while traffic in the area was diverted.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
