Crews battled four-alarm fire in Salisbury

SALISBURY N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Crews battled a four-alarm building fire in Salisbury Sunday afternoon.

Crews responded around 12 p.m. to a three-story apartment building on the 600 block of Hamilton Drive. Officials arrived on the scene to visible smoke.

Multiple mutual aid units responded including Rowan County and the city of Kannapolis.

Fire officials report no injuries at this time. We are still unsure of how the fire started.

We are sending a crew to this scene and will provide updates once we know more.
