Crews battle warehouse fire in Back of the Yards
CHICAGO — Firefighters were on the scene of a fire at a warehouse in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Wednesday night.
The fire that broke out at a warehouse near the corner of West 42nd Place and South Packers Avenue around 10:40 p.m.
The building was used to house furniture and pallets. Multiple ladders were used to fight the flames that created huge clouds of grey and black smoke.
Firefighters say there were no reported injuries in the incident.
