Creston Police report - April 24, 2024
Apr. 24—Karina L. Wilkinson, 47, of Creston, was taken into custody 10 a.m. April 23, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on two Union County warrants for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine, second offense and failure to appear on the original charge of OWI, first offense.
According to Union County District Court documents, On March 14 Wilkinson, was found guilty on the original charges and was sentenced to serve 20 days with credit for one hour served and 48 hours with credit for one day served, respectively. The sentences were ran concurrently and were ordered to be completed by March 29. Compliance hearings were held March 14 and Wilkinson did not appear and had not completed the jail sentences as ordered.
Wilkinson was transported to the Clarke County Jail and held without bond until the balance of her sentences are served in full.
