'Credibility' will keep Donald Trump off the stand

In Donald Trump's "hush money" trial Thursday, one of his attorneys, Susan Necheles, spent hours attempting to undermine the credibility of Stormy Daniels, the former porn star at the center of the case.

Having broached the topic of witness credibility, it appears obvious that his defense team has already decided not to put Trump on the stand.

Stormy Daniels leaves Manhattan Criminal Court after testifying at former US President Donald Trump's trial for allegedly covering up hush money payments linked to extramarital affairs, in New York City, on May 9, 2024. Adult film actress Daniels returned to the witness stand on Thursday at Trump's hush money trial for another round of grilling by attorneys for the former president.

Biden is weak pushover

As the media is obsessed with college students protesting Israeli’s actions in Gaza, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently striking Rafah which is home to thousands of refugees from the beginnings of this conflict.

College students protesting on how Israel has lost the capacity to care about Palestinian lives turns out to be justified.

Biden drew a line in the sand that Netanyahu must reach a ceasefire agreement to prevent the striking of Rafah. Not shockingly, Netanyahu refused a ceasefire agreement with Hamas to end this conflict. Netanyahu’s excuse: It was too big a handout for Hamas.

Live update: Hundreds of thousands flee Rafah as fighting intensifies in Gaza

By too big he must mean it is not fair he does not get to prolong this conflict killing thousands more of women and children in the process.

Netanyahu is currently under corruption charges which gives him incentive to prolong the conflict — and that he did.

Ohio State protest wasn't peaceful. Activist, supporters should stop clutching their pearls

It is not a conspiracy to ponder if the coverage of protestors by mainstream media liberal outlets were an attempt to provide cover for Biden when it became more and more obvious Netanyahu had no intention of listening to him.

This made Biden look exactly how Republicans portray him: Weak, frail, and a pushover.

Supreme Court judge should not be a lifetime job

The United States is the only major constitutional democracy that allows lifetime tenure for judges on its highest court.

Most of us agree that this has become a major problem.

Thankfully, a bill in Congress — the Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization (TERM) Act — would institute term limits of 18 years for Supreme Court justices.

The legislation would also provide for the appointment of two new justices during each four-year presidential term, removing the potential to fill Supreme Court vacancies as a factor in elections for president.
