Crash shuts down part of northbound DuSable Lake Shore Drive, causing major delays

CHICAGO — A crash involving multiple vehicles has shut down a portion of DuSable Lake Shore Drive on Tuesday morning, causing major rush-hour delays.

Next phase of Kennedy Expressway construction begins

As of just after 7 a.m., all lanes were blocked on northbound DuSable LSD near 31st Street. The backup was all the way to 47th Street, completely stopping traffic. Around 7:30 a.m., two lanes had been reopened.

Also Tuesday morning, a vehicle fire was causing major backups on the inbound Eisenhower Expressway.
