Crackdown coming at Wichita Falls High School in response to residents' complaints

Wichita Falls ISD officials informed Old High parents Friday that the police presence in and around the high school will increase beginning Monday, and violations of the law will bring discipline measures.

The announcement on the district's Facebook page Friday afternoon alerted parents about a recent increase in complaints from residents around Wichita Falls High School about incidents of trespassing, vandalism and violence.

In response to the complaints, WFISD is increasing the police presence and warning that any student found in violation of the law will be disciplined appropriately.

"We are asking for your cooperation as we work to establish a safe learning environment for all Wichita Falls High School students and demonstrate respect for our neighboring community," WFISD officials said in the post.
