For Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean Cobain, the apple clearly doesn't fall far from the tree.
The rock royalty duo, who've been showing off some major style chops at Paris Fashion Week, were the epitome of edgy cool in black slip dresses at the Givenchy show on Sunday.
Love brought back the '90s in a plunging black lingerie style black mini dress embellished with black lace on the top and midriff. The former Hole frontwoman let her messy blonde waves and smoky eyeliner take center stage, covering up her slip dress with an oversize black tuxedo jacket and sheer black tights. She finished off her all-black look with strappy black sandal heels and a simple necklace for her fashion week close-up.
Meanwhile, daughter Frances was her mom's mini-me in a black-and-white striped slip dress also embellished with black lace on the top and the hem. The 24-year-old kept her long dark hair long and natural, and added a swipe of berry-hued lipstick for some extra drama. Kurt Cobain's daughter opted to pair the minidress with a floor-length sheer jacket and black calf-length boots, adding a brilliant pop of color in the form of an emerald green crocodile handbag.
