Coroner identifies man shot, killed near Panorama Park

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man who died following a shooting late Friday night near Panorama Park in northeast Bakersfield.

The coroner identified the victim as Ronald Josue Rivera Hernandez, 24, of Bakersfield. Rivera Hernandez was shot April 19 at around 11 p.m. at the intersection of River Boulevard and Panorama Drive, the coroner said.

David Abbasi charged with 2 misdemeanors

Rivera Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bakersfield police said the shooting victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the park’s parking lot. The shooting remains under investigation.
