Congresswoman Escobar speaks on ‘Affordable Connectivity’ program

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Congresswoman Veronica Escobar hosted a press conference on Tuesday morning, April 23 which was followed by a roundatble discussion to bring attention to the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and its impact on El Paso residents, according to a press release from Escobar.

Escobar was joined by local representatives and leading organizations as she highlighted her letter of support to extend funding for the program, according to the press release.

“The ACP, which provides access to affordable broadband for over 81,000 households in El Paso is set to run out of funding,” the press release said.
