Her role at Community makes her feel like she is giving back to others and doing her part. Joyce Demoss works alongside Parminder and says this is something she admires about Parminder.

“She will take time with her employees and listen to them when they need to talk and get things worked out,” Demoss said.

Outside of work, Parminder volunteers at the Fresno Punjabi School as well as the Marjaree Mason Center, she is a firm believer in helping others however one can.

“Besides being a member of Community Health System, I also do a lot of community work within the Sikh community,  as well as our community in general in Fresno,” she said. “Not only in a monetary way or  help that way, but to give  your skillset whatever you have your knowledge, to share that with others that do not have that so that they can gain from it.”
