Colquitt Countians honored at Brookwood School

Apr. 23—THOMASVILLE — As the end of the school year nears, Brookwood School celebrated Upper School students who have achieved the highest levels of academic success in the annual honors and awards day ceremony on April 18.

Among them were four Colquitt Countians. Grayson Baker, Katherine Jones and Naya Williams are among 12 Brookwood students who have maintained at least a 4.0 grade point average for four years at the school. Bower Kirk-Murphy was one of 10 students who have maintained a 3.33 grade point average.

Brookwood's graduation ceremony will take place on May 18 in the Joe and Mary Beverly Athletic Center and will be broadcast on Livestream for those unable to attend.

Among the speakers at that ceremony will be valedictorian Hutton Daniel and salutatorian Bosie Miles, who were also named at the honors and awards day ceremony.
