Colorado students to compete in Second Annual Frank Azar Billboard Contest

(COLORADO) — The second annual ‘Frank Azar Billboard Contest’ is now underway, allowing students across the state a chance to see their winning design, advertising the firm’s services, featured on billboards across Colorado, plus a chance at winning a $2,500 educational grant.

“It’s important to encourage young people in their creative endeavors,” said Frank Azar, Founding Attorney for Franklin D. Azar & Associates. “This billboard contest is one way to help those who may be interested in pursuing a career in commercial art or design.”

Frank Azar Billboard Contest: What you need to know

  • The contest is open to all students, age 18 or younger, who are enrolled in Colorado schools.

  • Applicants must apply online at FDAzar.com/billboard, provide a parental consent form, and submit their design by May 20, 2024.

  • Winners will be announced on May 30.

According to a press release, “The Azar marketing team will provide each applicant with a brochure of guidelines as well as design assets. Contestants are urged to think creatively, choose a medium they are comfortable with, and challenge themselves to come up with a compelling concept and an eye-catching display.”
