Colorado Springs parks department to hire for 200+ seasonal positions

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services (PRCS) department is looking to hire for 200 to 300 seasonal positions during a job fair scheduled for Friday, March 29.

According to PRCS, the job fair will be hosted at the Hillside Community Center at 925 South Institute Street and open positions include full-time, part-time, and flexible hours.

The department is looking to hire for a range of positions including; park maintenance workers, park rangers, and cultural services positions at Garden of the Gods, Rock Ledge Ranch, and the Pioneers Museum, community center and sports office, as well as jobs with the Therapeutic Recreation Program.

“We are grateful for the passion, enthusiasm, and hard work that seasonal employees offer our department each year,” said Britt Haley, Director of PRCS. “These positions not only provide valuable work experience in a fun and exciting environment but also allow individuals to be a part of creating memorable experiences for our residents and visitors.”

The dates for the positions will vary but according to PRCS, most will run from May through October. Those interested are advised to be prepared for an on-the-spot interview and potentially leave with a job.
