Coles-Moultrie 911 reports issue on non-emergency lines

MATTOON, Ill. (WCIA) — A local emergency communications center has notified residents it had issues connecting calls Friday morning.

The Coles-Moultrie County 911, also called CECOM, said on social media that its communications center started experiencing issues receiving and making calls on its non-emergency lines. Officials said the lines appear to be back up, but there may be intermittent issues.

Wireless 911 calls were not affected, so people can still call 911 for emergencies.
