CMU Men’s Basketball’s season has come to an end.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Colorado Mesa’s Men’s Basketball season is over after the Mavs fell 88-76 to West Texas A&M in the Div-II Sweet 16.

CMU was flying around in the first half – as they took a 35-27 lead to the half.
But in the second half, West Texas A&M got comfortable on their home court and pulled away from CMU as the Mavs struggled to find their shot from outside.
It’s unfortunate for CMU that they had to face WT A&M in the regional tournament because they are a real threat for a National Championship run.
But what an incredible season for the Mavs – one that saw them bring home an RMAC regular season title and win a program-record 29 games.
