Clerk of Court to waive fees for unpaid fines during week in April

The Polk County Clerk of Court’s Office will hold the annual Operation Green Light in April, a week in which the office waives outside collection agency fees applied to unpaid court fines.

Once fees are paid, customers can proceed with the reinstatement of their driver’s license.

Operation Green Light takes place April 15 to April 19 during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Extended hours to 6 p.m. are offered on April 16 and April 18.

Customers can pay in person only at any of the Clerk’s three locations:

  • 255 N. Broadway Ave., Bartow.

  • 930 E. Parker St., Room 240, Lakeland.

  • Northeast Branch, 200 Government Center Blvd., Lake Alfred.
