Cleburne man indicted for sex assault of a child in Beaumont
May 16—BEAUMONT — A man has been indicted on two crimes against a child that happened in Beaumont.
Jose Collazo, 24, of Cleburne, was indicted Wednesday for first degree felony aggravated sexual assault of a child and second degree indecency with a child.
Collazo is accused of sexual assault of a boy who was younger than 14 when the sexual assault is alleged to have happened, and younger than 17 when the indecency is alleged to have happened, according to a probable cause affidavit.
The victim was interviewed at the Garth House and had a SANE examination.
