Clearing out Friday with more storm chances over the weekend

Clearing out Friday with more storm chances over the weekend

What We’re Tracking

  • Clearing Friday

  • Storms possible Saturday night

  • Comfortable temperatures

There’s a few showers and storms rolling through the area this morning mainly for our northern counties. Luckily, nothing has been severe but they are on the stronger side with wind gusts up to 50 mph. Rain should move out pretty quickly as the day goes on.

Clouds in the morning, then mostly sunny weather returns later this afternoon with highs in the upper 70s to near 80°. That pleasant weather will carry over into Saturday, as well. However, we expect a round of storms to late Saturday to our southwest and move our Saturday night into early Sunday.

Sunshine should return for Sunday afternoon with highs in the lower 80s. High temperatures should start to warm back into the 80s Memorial Day itself. So, the holiday is looking warm, but it’s hard to rule out some scattered showers and storms in the current pattern.
