City's Junior League to host fundraiser
The Junior League of Bakersfield will host its inaugural Bunco and Bubbles fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 10 at 1928 19th St.
From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., there will be an evening of fun, games, food a silent auction and more.
Tickets start at $40, and include food and two drinks. Every ticket sold will provide sponsorship for one child in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which gives books to children every month. Proceeds will go toward the Junior League of Bakersfield.
