City of Shreveport to hold series of meetings on April 27 bond proposals
The City of Shreveport is set to host a series of meetings to discuss three bond propositions with the community ahead of the April 27 vote.
The meetings will inform residents about the proposed bonds and their impact on the community. The meetings will also address various including streets and drainage to public safety, water and SPAR facilities.
According to a press release from the City of Shreveport, the meetings will provide an opportunity of transparency and accountability about the three propositions. The presser will have the chance to learn about upcoming projects and understand the financial implications.
"We recognize the important of engaging with our citizens and involving them in the decision-making process," Mayor Tom Arceneaux said in a press release. "Our citizens will have the chance to learn about upcoming projects and understand the implications."
