Cinco de Mayo parade and celebration to roll through Downtown Abilene

The Abilene community is invited to take part in an early Cinco de Mayo parade and celebration in Downtown Abilene.

The evening of fun will be Friday, May 3rd and will feature live bands, food trucks, mariachi, and ballet folkorico dancing. Lineup for the parade begins at 5:30 pm, with the parade starting at 6:00 pm, and the festival will begin at 7:00 pm.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Big Country CASA and The West TExas Tribune Scholarship Fund.
