Chris Evans Scares Elizabeth Olsen, Then Ellen Scares Evans, Because It Never Stops
It’s a pretty safe bet that if you’re a guest on Ellen you’ll probably get a surprise scare at some point. But even the most seasoned guests let their guards down from time to time.
Chris Evans and Elizabeth Olsen were on the daytime show, and it was scare-ception all around. Evans talked about how much he loves the bit where DeGeneres terrifies her guests. “How can you resist? It’s the best part about your show,” said Evans, “That you endorse this type of behavior? I really, really am addicted to it.”

It should be no surprise that Evans loves the gag, since he did scare actress Scarlett Johansson on the show last year. He followed that up by surprising co-star Olsen in the bathroom of the dressing room while the whole thing was recorded on hidden cameras. But Evans got complacent, forgetting that no one is safe on Ellen — and then he got spooked by a man in an Iron Man costume.
