CHP investigates hit-and-run crash on Niles St.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — California Highway Patrol officers launched an investigation after a hit-and-run crash in east Bakersfield Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. on Niles Street near Oswell Street in front of “Derrick’s Liquor.”

According to the CHP Traffic Page, a person was hit by a car and then pulled out of the road. The car reportedly fled the scene and the victim suffered minor injuries.

Anyone with information on the crash is encouraged to call CHP at 661-396-6600.
