Chilly tonight but warmer air returns tomorrow

The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5…

Overcast cloudy skies the afternoon as well as winds gusting to near 30mph really kept temperatures a bit cooler today, topping out in the upper 30s and low 40s. For tonight, those clouds should clear and winds will ease, but this will allow temperatures to fall to at or below freezing tonight.

A Freeze Warning is in effect tonight through 8AM Sunday Morning for Green Lake, Marquette and Fond Du Lac Counties where temperatures are likely to fall further below freezing. Sensitive plants that were planted early should be covered or taken inside!

Despite a northwest wind still gusting 20-30mph, more sunshine then today will help bump temperatures for your Sunday into the mid and upper 50s, a few 60s are not out of the question. There could be a few afternoon clouds, but the day should overall stay mostly sunny. Overnight, clear skies again and temperatures into the mid 30s.

Earth Day on Monday is going to be fantastic for any activities to celebrate the day! Mostly sunny skies with temperatures into the low to mid 60s. The only downfall is to get that warm, it needs to be windy and a southwest wind will be gusting near 40mph. Late clouds arrive ahead of a two round rain chance.

One moves in late Monday closer to bed time and another round of scattered showers is in store for Tuesday. Temperatures then take a tumble, going from the mid 60s on Tuesday down to struggling to get to 50 on Wednesday.
