Child found shot in South Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A child was reportedly shot in South Memphis Friday afternoon.

Memphis Police responded to a shooting on East Mallory Avenue near South Lauderdale Street at 2:11 p.m.

Victim shot in face after caught in crossfire at Exxon

Officers reportedly found a boy suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Police say he was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Memphis Police have not released any information on the possible suspect. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
