New Charlotte Rescue Mission facility set to open its doors

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – Project leaders are laying the final breaks for the new Charlotte Rescue Mission facility.

Queen City News got a first look at that facility on West 1st Street. Charlotte Rescue Mission provides a free 120-day Christian residential program for those fighting drug or alcohol addictions and who are predominantly homeless.

Project leaders say the new facility shows just how much those who enter the doors are cared for. “We’re thrilled, we’re blessed, and we are committed to impacting the Charlotte community by working with men and women who want life transformation,” officials said. “That’s what happens here.

The new facility will open its doors next month.
