GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Since the Grand Junction Resource Center opened in January, it has been thriving. Officials say it has been averaging 114 people in and out per day.

Homewards Bound’s Chief of Staff Chris Masters says he only sees it picking up as the temperature gets hotter and they begin to offer more resources. As of right now, Masters says they’ve provided over 20,000 services. Some of those services include, but are not limited to over 2,500 meals, 1,300 rides and have had about 2,300 people take showers so far.
